Position Depot Manager - Cotswold Rail Engineering Ltd
Salary Negotiable according to experience
Location Gloucester
Description
We are currently looking to employ a well experienced Traction and Rolling Stock Engineer to set up and manage our new depot. The successful applicant must have both proven experience, good all-round communication skills along with a deep knowledge of Traction and rolling stock.  Good experience in management will also be invaluable. 

The role will require the development of a 'brown field' site into a fully operational and functioning depot, communicating heavily with Network Rail, the environment agency and suppliers to final completion.  Management of site and TR & S maintenance staff will also be a key role

 

 

Position Train Planning Manager
Salary Negotiable according to experience
Location Midlands of England
Description
We are currently looking to employ a well experienced Train planner to interact within our freight business. The successful applicant must have both proven experience and good all-round communication skills along with a deep knowledge of the current train planning processes and systems.

Experience with Passenger trains will be considered helpful, although it is not essential.

 

 

Position Duty Control Manager - Advenza Freight
Salary Negotiable according to experience
Location Midlands of England
Description We are currently looking to employ well experienced Control Managers to interact within our freight business. The successful applicant must have both proven experience and good all-round communication skills along with a deep knowledge of working to the current Network Rail standards. A knowledge of train planning will be a distinct advantage.

Experience with Passenger trains will be considered helpful, although it is not essential.

 

 

 

Position Train Manager - Drivers - Advenza Freight
Salary £38K with pension.
Location Birmingham, Gloucester, Crewe.
Description We are currently looking to employ experienced drivers to interact within our freight business. The successful applicant must have both proven experience, a preferable knowledge of Class 08, HST-125, Class 47 and/or Class 66 locomotives, good all-round communication skills along with a deep knowledge of working to the current Network Rail standards.

The role will be extremely varied, as work will involve operation of our Freight trains on daily flows all the way through to the occasional passenger charter and trainman duties.

Experience with Passenger and Freight trains will be considered a distinct advantage.

 

 

Position Train Manager - Guards - Advenza Freight
Salary £22K with pension.
Location Gloucester.
Description We are currently looking to employ train guards, to marshall, test, dispatch and ride our trains. The successful applicant must have proven experience of working to the current Network Rail standards, be able to pass PTS and be a good all-round communicator.

Experience with Passenger trains will be considered an advantage.

 

 

Position Business Development Manager
Salary On target salary of £40K with pension.
Location Midlands of England although not essential.
Description Due to the success of Cotswold Rail Engineering in the provision of locomotives and Rolling Stock a position has become available for a Business Development Manager.

The position will require the successful candidate to visit existing customers in order to enhance the business and assist in increasing customer satisfaction. The successful applicant will also be required to develop new avenues of work. Knowledge of the industry will be essential, linked with a good understanding of the Passenger and Freight UK Rail business, also a detailed understanding of the current legislation of running trains will be invaluable.

A company vehicle will be supplied.
